Waste waters are coming from the serigraphic process.
This industrial activity generates small to medium
amounts of contaminated waters that need to be treated
or pre-treated. Activities like the cleaning of printing
screens are responsible for generating contaminated
waters loaded with ink, colloidal and dissolved matter,
and a signi cant amount of nitrogen compounds resulting
from the use of nitric acid on the process. For that
reason the technology applied is a batch biological
oxidation process or SBR process (sequence batch
reactor), which in this case uses one single SBR reactor.

domain.
